January 2010 Administrative Account | The Calvary Chapel School of Ministry (CCSOM) has recently released an excellent Bible program, “The Word” It includes 142 Bible translations and 475 other books with commentaries, dictionaries, map sets plus others. It’s free and can be found at www.theword.net . Although the program is well structured, that much dumped in your lap all at once can be a challenge so a free training session (workshop) will be held on Feb. 26, from 6:30-9:30 PM in the Main Sanctuary of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, CA. The workshop will be taught by Pastor Douglas Hamp. This event will be streamed live over the internet at http://www.calvarychapelcostamesa.com/

October 2009 Administrative Account | Ministry System’s Prayer Request – As a part of our work with the African Academy, we are pursuing an opportunity to use a FREE Bible study collection, “The Word”. Their website, www.theword.gr is enlightening.

September 2009 Administrative Account | This month (September) may have a significant challenge that really needs prayer. We will attempt to bring online AACL Cyber café; more below.

August 2009 Administrative Account | The voice portion of conference calls works fine and is available to use. The video portion will take some more effort.

July 2009 Administrative Account | Ministry System’s Prayer Request – The center piece technology is a free voice, including video, over the Internet program, Skype. We are continuing to learn about the program particularly for conference calls.

June 2009 Administrative Account | Technology provides tools. In June we did a presentation to our SS class that projected a live Internet connection plus a slide show. Our next goal is to be able to present live conversations with video between missionaries and their supporters via the Internet.
