Growth Among the Totonacs
May 2009 Dear Coworker, There has been an immediate reaction to the laptops and digital projectors, along with Biblical training programs to be used on them. Pastor Felipe Ramos wrote: Thanks so much for this great help you have given us. It is especially helpful for the brothers who are involved in the ministry. Brother Porfirio (pastor of the large church in Patla) has been asking about this, and I will be going to see him, and find out more about the work over which he is responsible. Our brother Danielito has begun classes for the young people in Nanacatlan, seeking to train more leaders using the equipment, and I will be giving additional training to all of the current workers, using the “Paul and Timothy” materials, which are very appropriate for them. Another development in the Totonac churches is that the government required all of the churches to be registered. The church at Nanacatlan had registered years ago, but this time Felipe was able to register seven churches. Along with this came official certificates for nine of the pastors. Felipe had to go in to Mexico City to do that, a trip he does not like to make, but all the documents have been completed, except now there are some more pastors that want to be included so that they, too, can have certificates. Also, continue to pray for the group in Las Lomas who want to build a church building. Thank you for praying! And thank you so much for your gift for this ministry of helps to our brothers and sisters in Christ among the Indian churches in Latin America. Cordially yours in Christ, Dale W. Kietzman
